1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.

2. The Service

Bedbug Earth presents user-submitted and other publicly available information about reported bedbug encounters. The Service is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a guarantee of a property’s condition, safety, cleanliness, or suitability, and it is not professional pest-control, health, legal, or travel advice. Use your own judgment before making travel or accommodation decisions.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You may sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate profile information and promptly update it when it changes.

4. Your submissions

You may submit reports, descriptions, source links, photos, and related material (“User Content”). You retain any rights you have in your User Content, but you grant Bedbug Earth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and make available your User Content to operate, review, improve, promote, and provide the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it is truthful to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit private or confidential information, personal data about others, unlawful content, deceptive claims, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Reports and supporting material may be reviewed before publication; we may remove, limit, or decline any User Content at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access; interfering with the Service; scraping or harvesting data in a way that burdens or bypasses access controls; submitting spam, malware, or false reports; impersonating another person; or using the Service in violation of law or another person’s rights.

6. Third-party services and content

The Service may use or link to third-party services, including Apple, Google, mapping providers, advertising providers, and external source websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Bedbug Earth does not control and is not responsible for third-party services or content.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service, any report, or any feature will always be available, accurate, complete, or error-free.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEDBUG EARTH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND AVAILABILITY.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEDBUG EARTH AND ITS PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from the app. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, the Service is at risk, or we are required to do so by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms.
